RELEASE: Black Hand Theatre debuts its first show this May at the London One Act Festival. A show about life and the constant questioning of where we go after we die, Blow This Popsicle Stand is a dark comedy reflecting on life in the freezer. Stephanie Demas, who is no stranger to the stage herself, has put together a dynamite cast to help tell the story of 4 popsicles caught in limbo. Starring Julian Munds as Frank. Julian has toured all over Canada, the US and the Czech Republic for various plays and musicals. Most recent credits include: Zalman, a Bagelman, in the Grand Theatre High School Project’s Fiddler on the Roof (2004); Adam/Noah in the Beal Players production of Children of Eden (2005). Also starring Tomas Alderson in the roles of three dynamic characters. At the age of 12 Alderson made his professional stage debut as Louis in The King and I. Since then he has appeared in the past three High School Projects at the Grand Theatre (The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, and Oklahoma!). As well, he performed the role of The Artful Dodger in Oliver! in Port Huron, Michigan. Other favourite roles include Baby John in West Side Story as well as Willard in Footloose and Abel in Children of Eden.
