Stephanie Demas / Founder, Artistic Director For Black Hand: Stephanie wrote and directed the 2005 Brickenden Award winning Blow this Popsicle Stand, and directed the 2005 best of Fringe winner P & J: The Original Mock Musical. Demas co-produced the highly acclaimed The Retreat From Moscow for Theatre Black and White. Recently, she assistant directed with Peter Froehlich on New Theatre of Ottawa's The Domino Heart. In 2008 she co-wrote and directed "Silkworm" which is touring Canada, Czech Republic, and Germany. A London native, Alexis McDougall has been tearing up the theatre scene in southwestern Ontario for over a decade. Behind the scenes, she has stage managed for directors such as Bill Hill, John Gerry and Jayson McDonald. She directed the 2002 London One Act Festival entry Nina in the Morning as well as assistant directing other projects. Her onstage work is just as impressive. Alexis has shown her talent and risen through the dramatic ranks, starting in 1995 with ensemble roles at Original Kids Theatre Company and most recently playing the title role in Bishop’s University’s rendition of Lysistrata.
